The amendment at regulation related to review and audit of production and distribution companies at electricity market acting within license has been entered in effect by issuing at Official Gazette on 09.01.2012.

At regulation making amendment and entering into effect on 09.01.2012, it is required that explanation written at article 1.a of regulation shall be stated at articles of association of companies which shall be responsible for audit of electricity production and distribution companies having license, companies which of better part of shares aboard or inland directly or indirectly are traded at the exchange should have at least 400.000 TL as capital and if there are, articles of association should be issued by displaying the last partnership structure which of better part of registered shares are owned by shareholder/s who is/are audit personal and shares

Bill drafting related to the amendment on code of execution and bankruptcy and some codes has been submitted to the Grand National Assembly Of Turkey

Bill drafting submitted to the Grand National Assembly Of Turkey involves essential amendments at many articles of execution and bankruptcy code. The regulation that is not to permit to seizure to household goods other than jewels,negotiable instruments, metal ornaments and money draws attention along amendments at bill drafting.

Bill drafting that envisages amendments at Cheque Code has been accepted by Justice Commision of the Grand National Assembly Of Turkey.

In accordance with the accepted bill drafting, prohibition of cheque usage for 10 years has been regulated as penalty instead of prison sentence at bad cheque. The prison sentence which is applied until 1 year related to each cheque for person who draws bearer cheque without using bearer cheque leaf at cheque book shall be changed into administrative fine from 300 TL until 3000 TL.

In case the amount of bad cheque is paid with its interest, the penalty related to ban of drawing cheque and opening cheque account shall be lifted.Banks shall give new cheque books to their clients until 31.12.2012.
