July 2010 THE NOTIFICATION RELATED TO PRODUCTS ON CUSTOM DUTIES ARE SUSPENDED AND TARIFF QUOTAS WHICH ARE PLANNED TO BE BROUGHT FOR PRODUCTS BY THE EUROPEAN UNION HAS BEEN PUBLISHED The Notice Regarding to Products on Custom Duties Are Suspended and Tariff Quotas That Are Planned to be Brought for Products by the EU has been published in the Official Gazette dated 6th of June and numbered 27603. In that Notice, the products on which custom duties are suspended on 1.1.2011 and which would have tariff quotas by the European Union were indicated. According to that, both EU and Turkey are going to suspend custom duties for these products. THE REGULATION MADE CHANGE ON THE DIRECTIVE RELATED TO ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATING PRINCIPLES OF SECURITIES MARKET ORGANIZED OUTSIDE OF THE EXCHANGE MARKET WAS PUBLISHED The Regulation Made Change on the Directive Related to Establishment and Operating Principles of Securities Market Organized Outside of the Exchange Market was published in the Official Gazette which dated 5th of June and numbered 27602. According to that regulation there is a new paragraph added to the 5th article of the related regulation. In accordance with that paragraph; the condition of not being sentenced to imprisonment due to wilful acts for 5 years or more by members of board, general director and assistant general manager should be understood as not being sentenced to imprisonment for one (1) year or more.
